911 call: Dwayne Haskins’ car had run out of gas

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Former Ohio Point out quarterback Dwayne Haskins was crossing a south Florida highway the working day he was killed for the reason that he experienced run out of gasoline, his wife stated in a contact to 911.

Two audio clips have been attained Wednesday by Nexstar’s NewsNation. They include phone calls from a witness and from Haskins’ wife, Kalabrya, who was not with him.

Haskins, 24, was killed on April 9 right after currently being hit by a dump truck although strolling on the highway.

“There was a male in entrance of me. I was traveling on the street and I noticed a dump truck strike the guy,” claimed the witness in a 911 call from I-595.

Kalabrya Haskins named from Pittsburgh and mentioned, “My spouse, he was stuck on the facet of the freeway as he had to go wander and get fuel and then he stated he would return to the motor vehicle on the highway.”
